About Us
Sierra Canvas Works continues in the old time tradition, designing and crafting Marine Canvas.
Dave Blodget started sewing in his father’s canvas shop, Blue Water Canvas Works in Paradise, CA in the late 1970’s.
Sierra Canvas Works was born in 1985 in El Dorado, CA. Servicing the needs of Northern California and California Delta boaters, we quickly gained experience in all phases of marine canvas.
We moved to Bakersfield, CA in 2000 and relocated in 2020 to Redding in Northern California.
Each and every project is treated with a dedication to quality materials and craftsmanship. In order to give each project our full attention, we are a BY APPOINTMENT only business.
